McNab Public School students participate in many fundraisers that support our programs, trips and provide resources for students. Classroom teachers and our Student Council also initiate fundraisers to support charities that help the less fortunate.
Our students participate in the annual Terry Fox Run held in September each year. In addition to the physical benefits for every participant, our students raised $1,847.25 in September 2013 to support the Terry Fox Foundation for cancer research.
Our Magazine fundraiser occurs in the Fall for Grades 5 to 8 students. A big thank you to all those who supported our fundraiser.
McNab School collects new and gently used snowsuits, footwear and other outerwear items in support of the Renfrew County Child Poverty Action Network (CPAN). Collection takes place November and December.
In mid February all students have the opportunity to take home an order form for Cookie Dough. Proceeds from this fundraiser will help off-set trip costs.
McNab School Council
Our school Council supports our school activities, trips, and the purchase of resources throughout the year. These include: Family Movie Nights, Family Dances, Family Skating and Chili Night, Mega Yard Sale and Fun Fair.
