Dear McNab Students, Parents, Guardians, and Community Members,

On behalf of the dedicated staff, I extend a warm and enthusiastic welcome to McNab Public School! It is a privilege to lead a community so profoundly committed to Renfrew County District School Board's core mission: Inspire, Empower, Achieve.

We live by our school motto, "We Do Our Best," and this guides our deep commitment to every student's success, well-being, and sense of belonging.

At McNab, we believe in supporting the whole child. We recognize and actively work to support the diverse needs of all our students. We are fortunate to provide unique resources that enhance learning and well-being, including our specialized Multi-Sensory Room and Gross Motor Room, both designed to help students regulate and engage effectively in their learning.

Our classrooms embrace innovative learning opportunities, fostering collaboration and practical skill development. Initiatives like our learning buddies program and robust Track and Field activities not only support academic growth but also build essential community bonds. Classes at McNab Public School take part in various community programs like the Terry Fox Run, Roots of Empathy, You're The Chef, and Entrepreneurs for Change to offer students with opportunities for real-world learning and the development of 21st century soft skills essential for success. We are dedicated to delivering instruction that truly cares for our students and their families.

📚 The Heart of Our Community

The true strength of McNab lies in our dynamic family community. We are incredibly grateful for the tireless support of our volunteers and the amazing efforts of our School Council.

We are especially fortunate to have a school library completely cared for by volunteers, providing our students with a rich and thriving resource centre. Our active School Council consistently hosts fantastic events—like the Halloween Dance, Holiday Shopping Day, Chili and Skating Party, Mega Yard Sale, and Fun Fair—that bring us together and directly benefit our students.

This year, all funds raised from these wonderful events are dedicated to an inspiring goal: building a new play structure for our Junior and Intermediate students to enjoy!
